A $110 million price tag is a tall order for most home shoppers. And after just a month on the market, the owner of one Silicon Valley villa took notice and has slashed nearly $30 million off asking—though if the home sells even remotely close to that price, it will set a new area record.
(The current record for priciest home sold in Silicon Valley was set just last year for $43.5 million.)
The Woodside estate in question, now listed for a cool $84 million, features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms across nearly 19,000 square feet of living space. Available for the first time, the Italian-inspired villa boasts the main home, a detached spa, guest house and large office building, all sitting on 3.30 acres.
Hand-plastered smooth walls and ceilings, French oak and limestone floors and retractable walls can be found in every building. Property amenities include two kitchens, a Dolby screening room, golf simulator lounge and 6,000-bottle wine salon.
Outdoors, the new owners can enjoy the 65-foot pool, spa, an outdoor kitchen, firepit, 40-plus olive trees and 100-plus rose bushes, plus a private hiking trail.
