The average 30-year fixed-mortgage rate sits at 3.14 percent, which is a decline of five basis points over last week. The average rate for a 15-year fixed mortgage is 2.44 percent, down two basis points from one week ago.
A 5/1adjustable-rate mortgage has an average rate of 3.13 percent, down five basis points compared to last week.
The current average interest rate for a 30-year refinance is 3.13 percent, a decrease of three basis points. The average rate for a 15-year fixed refinance loan is 2.44 percent, down one basis point compared to one week ago.
The current average interest rate for a 10-year refinance is 2.42 percent, also a decrease of one basis points compared to last week.
