Silicon Valley may have a new sales record should the estate of Gap founders Don and Doris Fisher fetch asking price—or even a few million less!
Since 1975, the property at 170 Atherton Avenue has been the Fisher’s summer home. Since purchasing the initial parcel for $211,000, the Fishers picked up additional land and properties—today totaling three parcels of approximately 8 acres, making it the ninth largest estate in all of Atherton.
And for $100 million, it can be yours!
According to the listing, the estate includes a main house boasting five bedrooms and four bathrooms, a pool house for entertaining, pool and tennis court, all on four acres. The secondary home sits on two acres and has been configured for entertaining. Plus, there’s two additional acres of gardens on the grounds.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the most expensive property ever sold in Atherton is a 12-acre estate that went for $53 million in 2011.
Mary Gullixson of Compass holds the listing along with Brent Gullixson.
