The National Association of Realtors Board of Directors has approved what some deemed a controversial proposal which will require listings to include the address of a property once it is added to the MLS. The new policy does not require that an address be made public, just that it available to other MLS subscribers.
Inman reports that NAR previously shelved the address proposal at the group’s annual conference last November following debate for and against the mandate.
The board also approved a policy requiring sold listings without a sales price to be included in data feeds in non-disclosure states.
