The average rate for a 15-year fixed mortgage is 2.39 percent—an increase of 4 basis points compared to a week ago.
The 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage rate is averaging 3.13 percent—an increase of 6 basis points week-over-week.
On the refinance front, the average rate for a 30-year fixed refi is 3.17 percent, an increase of 3 basis points.
The average rate for a 15-year fixed refinance loan is 2.46 percent, an increase of 3 basis points compared to one week ago.
