A 1,400 square-foot home in the Sacramento suburb of Citrus Heights is getting lots of national attention. That’s because after hitting the market at a reasonable $399,900, the home’s owners received 122 offers—in just two days!
Sure, the home has three bed, two baths and a pool, but that is competition previously unseen in Citrus Heights, California…or anywhere, really.
Sacramento Fox affiliate KTXL reports that the owners did select an offer for an undisclosed amount, though apparently not $500,000+ offer that was previously reported in other media outlets. KTXL reports the selling price was “in the mid-$400,000 range.”
“People would think that it was underpriced. It was not underpriced. It was straight on with the comps,” Deb Brittan, the listing agent for the property, told KTXL. “I had hoped, I thought, maybe if we get 20 offers that would be amazing.”
