Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has picked up an expert agent and glass ceiling breaker with the announcement that Brent Thomson has joined the Drysdale Properties team. Thomson, the former Compass California COO and former COO of Pacific Union International, will be a strategic advisor responsible for growing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties throughout Northern California and Nevada.
“Brent has a proven track record of success and has earned the reputation of being one of the most effective real estate executives who has always attracted the top sales professionals and best real estate leadership,” said Gretchen Pearson, president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties. “She is known to be a real powerhouse, and her straightforward yet caring style is aligned with how we operate here. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to our team.”
During her time at San Francisco-based Pacific Union International, Thomson oversaw the growth of the boutique luxury real estate brokerage into the fifth largest real estate firm in the nation with sales volume topping $14 billion in 2017. In 2018, Thomson led the merger of Pacific Union with Compass to establish Compass’s market share leadership in California and remained as the chief operating officer of Compass California.
Now, she’ll be taking her more than 30 years of experience to one of the largest women-owned brokerages in the U.S.
“There is no brand more synonymous with success than Berkshire Hathaway,” said Brent Thomson. “Their long term reputation as a profitable and well-run company is without question, and I’m excited to join one of the nation’s largest woman-owned real estate brokerages to help expand their reach even further throughout Northern California and Nevada.”
