Halsey Buys Spanish Colonial Revival In Los Feliz

Halsey has been on a real estate roll as of late! After acquiring a Laurel Canyon property following a big Calabasas sale, the popstar has reportedly bought another L.A.-area home, this time in Los Feliz. Property records show Halsey dropped $4,969,000 on a formidable five bedroom/six bath, designed by architect Arthur W. Larson in 1928.

The Spanish Colonial Revival is replete with impressive architectural details, including Juliette balconies, decorative ironwork, tiled courtyards and patios, and red clay rooflines. Through a deep arched threshold is the formal living room anchored by a grand fireplace, stained glass and coffered ceilings, with French doors opening to a large tiled veranda. The dining room boasts more stained glass, opening to a front courtyard. 

Rare robin’s egg blue original tile, wooden countertops, and lighting fixtures are found in the butler’s pantry and kitchen tucked next to a sunny breakfast room. A stately office with hand stenciled ceilings, paneling and fireplace is privately situated off the grand staircase.
