The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Los Angeles Coastal chapter celebrated its 10th anniversary in style by kicking off the 2023 season, inducting the new Board of Directors at their installation gala.
Held on January 18 at the Natural History Museum in Downtown Los Angeles, outgoing Chapter President and Co-Founder of the Kondo Group at Compass, Michelle Nishide, proudly handed the baton off to the 2023 chapter President, California Listings Long Beach expert Erik Chavez of Victoria Street Real Estate at Bayside.
Bayside proudly supported the gala as the gold sponsor of the evening and when presenting, Bayside’s C.O.O. Deanna Wallo-Whipp said, “At Bayside we spend the majority of our time working with our agents to understand that our job first is to be expert educators who advocate for our clients above all, so it’s only natural that Erik Chavez is now seated as your next chapter President. He is perfectly suited for this role, because his mission, his ethics and his diligent industry expertise match not only that of Bayside’s but AREAA’s.”
Founded in 2003, the Asian American Real Estate Association of America is a national nonprofit trade organization dedicated to improving the lives of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community through homeownership.
