The famed Spelling Manor has returned to market following an unsuccessful sales push in 2022. After being listed last February with the late Jeff Hyland for $165 million, the property has been relisted and repriced at $155 million.
The mansion famed TV producer Aaron Spelling and his wife, Candy, once called home has been a pop culture icon for decades. (We all know of Candy’s legendary gift wrapping room, after all.)
Candy sold the mansion in 2011 for $85 million—considered then to be a pretty penny for L.A. real estate. Since then, the 56,000 square foot home has exchanged hands once, for a reported $120 million back in 2019.
Now referred to simply as “The Manor,” the Holmby Hills property is being marketed as one of the finest estates in the world. Sitting on 4.68 acres bordering the Los Angeles Country Club, the estate features 27 bathrooms and 14 bedrooms—including a 5,000 square foot master suite.
Of course the bedrooms are just the tip of the luxurious iceberg. The Manor boasts a bowling alley, screening room, beauty salon, library, full-size tennis court, lounges, spa, rose gardens, two motor courts and a resort-style pool.
Drew Fenton, who previously held the listing along with Hyland, now holds the new listing.
