Dr. Dre Sells Calabasas Spare

His Malibu beach home may still be waiting for a buyer, but that hasn’t stopped Dr. Dre from lightening some of his real estate holdings in L.A.

The prolific producer and rapper has sold his Calabasas spare home for an even $6 million. Records show that’s more than $1 million over what he paid for the home in 2018.

Featuring six bedrooms and six-and-a-half baths across more than 9,300 square feet of living space, the home sits within the gated community of Mountain View Estates. Having undergone a recent renovation, the home now boasts updated light oak floors, granite, marble, tile surfaces, cabinetry, wall finishes and more. 

The media room naturally is equipped with “top of the line” audio visual equipment and a whole house sound system. The main bedroom has two walk-in closets, an adjacent wrap-around balcony/deck and an updated bathroom.

The entertainers backyard features a pool, spa, sport court, large grassy area, firepit, outdoor kitchen and separate pizza oven. The lot is gated, fully fenced with ample parking plus an eight-car garage.
