Actress Charlize Theron closed out November by reportedly picking up a spare Studio City property. The Oscar winner spent nearly $350,000 over the home’s $2.3 million asking price—paying $2.64 million.
Featuring three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths across 2,000 square feet of living space, the Rob Diaz-designed home was brought down to the studs prior to the sale. Interior finishes include Douglas fir windows, new white oak flooring, and a new 200 amp electrical service panel.
The detached flex space was reframed with a new roof, insulation, double Tru Style carriage doors and large Lincoln direct set window. New landscaping with 60 gallon Manzanilla Olive tree and new hardscape with Pennsylvania Blue stone.
Larry Cole of Compass held the listing, while David Gray of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California repped the buyer.
The purchase comes as Theron’s Beverly Grove listing has a pending sale. Listed for $1.995 million, the actress bought the home 22 years ago for $519,000.
