After breaking news at the CaliforniaListings.com Power Players Real Estate Showcase that The Agency had just acquired Triplemint, the boutique powerhouse has continued its U.S. expansion with two new office openings this month.
Following the celebration of its first franchise office in Miami’s Bal Harbour neighborhood a few weeks ago and now news of a Seattle office as well, The Agency has 35 franchises among its growing network of more than 50 offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe.
Earlier this month, The Agency’s CEO Mauricio Umansky spoke with CaliforniaListings.com about his company’s expansion during the keynote at the CaliforniaListings.com Power Player Real Estate Showcase. While in conversation with CaliforniaListings.com Publisher Frankie Morales, Umansky summed up the Agency’s growth plans with one simple idea:
“I have a very simple business philosophy: Wherever I like to travel, I like to have an Agency. Turks and Caicos. Los Cabos. Playa del Carmen. It goes on and on. And there is definitely some truth to that,” Umanksy said to laughs from the audience.
“Part of our culture and part of being boutique is I show up at every grand opening, I show up at our private year anniversaries. We show up for each other. The reason we do it is we want to be part of a boutique family. We want to be global boutique. ” Umansky continued.
“I believe there is an amazing opportunity in the real estate industry to create a firm that creates the best network, the best web in order to take care of clients anywhere within one eco system. I see amazing opportunities to penetrate into the global real estate work so we’re literally trying to build a network of real estate agencies around the globe that can handle the same luxury clientele. And luxury is defined by people that expect service, not by people that want to have discount.”
