New York staple Douglas Elliman has been building western momentum in years past, and now the brokerage has eyes set on Nevada.
According to the Real Deal, the company has plans to open an office in the city’s Downtown Summerlin development. Howard Lorber, head of Douglas Elliman, tells TRD that the move makes sense given Nevada has become a state where their customers want to be.
“Not only do they want the kinds of properties you can only find in this region, but they also want to be in low- and no-tax states like Nevada and Texas,” said Lorber.
Avi Dan-Goor, a Nevada-based exec with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, is also set to join Douglas Elliman’s new Nevada team.
