He may be a Broadway fave, but Ben Platt has laid down some permanent L.A. roots with the purchase of a Spanish villa in L.A.’s trendy Los Feliz neighborhood.
The actor and singer reportedly paid $3.5 million ($300,000 over asking) for the 1920’s gem, boasting four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Restored to highlight the original historic character with modern design elements, the two-story home showcases clean lines and gentle curves.
Featuring a generous formal entry and classic floorplan including a formal step-down living room, a dining room with an adjacent open concept kitchen, and an office with a custom built-in desk and storage. The updated kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances and custom appliance cabinet panels. A grand-scale living room highlights the coved ceiling, decorative fireplace and an arched picture window.
The grounds include a lush garden, a brick dining patio and a grassy yard with room for a pool.
Karen Lower of Compass held the listing, while Suzanne Carney of Corcoran Global Living repped the buyer.
