Late Jeopardy host Alex Trebek’s L.A.-area home has sold after a brief stint on the market. As we previously reported, the Studio City home had an asking price of $6.995 million. The L.A. Times reports the home sold for $6.45 million this week.
The deal ranks as Studio City’s second-priciest home sale this year.
The five bedroom/11 bathroom 99-year-old estate features nearly 10,000 square feet of living space in the highly coveted Fryman Estates area, this 1923 Mediterranean-style home sits on nearly 1.5 acres.
According to the listing, the main house includes four generously sized bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four fireplaces, a double-height foyer, butlers pantry, formal and informal dining rooms, a theater and a bar. The property is also home to a detached guest house with one bedroom, one full and one half bathroom.
The expansive grounds include a pool, spa, gardens and mature oak trees.
Trebek’s daughter, Emily Trebek, and Renee Ogiens, both with Compass, held the listing. Andrew Dinsky of Equity Union represented the buyer.
