Perhaps the Million Dollar Listing franchise is in the midst of a behind-the-scenes rebranding, but the hit Bravo show is losing two more cast members.
Following news earlier this year that longtime star Fredrik Eklund was leaving the series, business partners James Harris and David Parnes have just announced they are also leaving the show.
According to a joint Instagram announcement, the pair will step away from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles after seven seasons.
“We started our business in Los Angeles in 2012 and we received a phone call that we were never expecting,” the pair wrote. “As two best friends from London, we were looking to make a start for ourselves. We had no money, no connections and let’s not forget, no idea of our way around! The voice on the other end of the line was a casting call for Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. We never intended to come to Los Angeles to be on TV, and as fate had it, we started shooting a show which changed our business and our lives. From starting families to watching our kids grow, to climbing from $1M in sales to over $5 billion in sales, we would never in our wildest dreams have imagined the world watching it happen along with us.
“After 7 amazing seasons spanning over 9 years, we feel the time has come to move on and leave the show which in many ways, has defined us,” the agents continued. “It’s a move that we have thought long and hard about and we feel that as our business has evolved, we need to keep moving. We thank all our fans wholeheartedly and vow that we won’t stop because we can’t stop.”
The pair first joined MDLLA in Season 7. No word from Bravo on who the cast will consist of in the upcoming season of the show.
