One time listed for $95 million, a French Normandy-style estate in Beverly Hills has exchanged hands off-market for $70 million, making it one of the largest sales of the year.
Sales records show that the Beverly Park Circle estate belonging to billionaire businessman Alec Gores has a new owner as of last month. According to the Wall Street Journal, the buyer is Titan Golden Capital, an Irvine-based limited liability company.
The home (seen in old listing photos here) is situated on 2.2 acres and 11 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms across 31,335 square feet of living space. The estate was built in 2007 and was designed by famed architect Richard Landry of Landry Design Group.
Design features include hand-painted ceilings, an antique limestone fireplace and hand-laid French oak herringbone floors. Amenities include rose gardens, a wine cellar, library, home office and gym.
Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty, Samira Gores, Christine Martin and Tiffany Martin of the Agency handled the deal.
