British popstar Robbie Williams apparently loves the ultra luxury real estate game that is Los Angeles. Just weeks after selling his former home to Drake for a reported $75 million, Williams has picked up a rather iconic property—the Faring Estate.
Located in the exclusive Holmby Hills area of L.A., the nearly 19,000 square foot home was designed by renowned architect Oscar Shamamian. The gated, European-inspired compound boasts eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms along with some spectacular grounds.
The main house features a two-story entry with spiral staircase, bright formal living and wood-paneled great room with an office, bar and an outdoor deck. Amenities include a wine cellar, breakfast room, third floor playroom and chef’s kitchen with butler’s pantry.
Sprawled on a lush flat lawn are show-stopping grounds with outdoor patios, a saltwater pool, koi pond, vegetable/rose gardens, championship tennis court and a pool house with sauna and fitness center. There are also two guest houses; one an original piece by iconic architect John Elgin Woolf.
Listed in January for $58 million, the Wall Street Journal reports that Williams closed the deal for $49.5 million.
Rayni Williams and Linda May held the listing, while Aaron Kirman repped the buyer.
