A penthouse at the new Four Seasons Private Residences is looking to set a record: a $75 million record!
Of course, the Four Seasons brand is known for high-end luxury—and said penthouse is no exception. Spanning 13,000 square feet across two levels, the Wall Street Journal reports that the penthouse design was inspired by Case Study Houses built from the 1940s-1960s.
The stand out of the unit is the 9,700 square foot private rooftop, boasting open-air terraces, reflecting pools and 360-degree views. Additional penthouse perks include direct elevator access to the space and a private six-car garage.
The unit’s $75 million asking price puts it among the most expensive condos in Los Angeles. The record price for a condo sale was set in 2010, when Candy Spelling dropped $35 million on a penthouse at the exclusive Century building.
As noted in the WSJ, 70 percent of the building’s units have already sold, with remaining units beyond the penthouse starting at $3.5 million. Residents will get to enjoy exclusive amenities (separate from the neighboring hotel) including an indoor-outdoor fitness and wellness center, a zero-edge saltwater pool, private cabanas and access to an immersive IMAX Private Theatre Palais experience.
