Chock full of celebrities and oversized homes, it’s no surprise that Alex Von Furstenberg would want to remain a resident of Beverly Park. Fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg’s oldest child has lived in the gated community above Beverly Hills since 2011, when he bought hacienda-style home for $13 million.
More than 10 years later, it appears Von Furstenberg has stuck another stake in the ground with the purchase of another Beverly Park home—two doors down and nearly double the price of his first home.
According to Dirt, the neoclassical Georgian mansion features seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms across more than 13,500 square feet of living space. Sited on just over two acres with city and canyon views, the home was actually one of the first in Beverly Park, built by the community’s developer, Brian Adler.
Lux—albeit dated—living spaces include a state-of-the-art gym with steam room and sauna, movie theater, wood-paneled library, with designer details including artisan crown molding, parquet wood flooring, and other high-end, imported materials. The master bedroom has it’s own wing within the residence, boasting dual bathrooms and closets.
The grounds include rolling lawns, a pool, spa and several “secret” gardens.
Neyshia Go of Sotheby’s International Realty and Tomer Fridman of Compass held the listing. Drew Meyers of Westside Estate Agency repped the buyer.
