He may not have gotten asking price, but actor embattled actor Danny Masterson has offloaded his 1920s Hollywood property for $6.2 million. According to Dirt, Endeavor partner and co-head of Commercials Department, Will Ward, picked up the property following it’s listing earlier this fall.
With an impending criminal trial ahead, Danny Masterson has listed his longtime Hollywood Hills home for $6,995,000.
Built in 1923, the historic Hollywood compound is situated on an expansive island lot in Bronson Canyon. The Spanish-style estate, once home to music legend Chuck Berry, features five bedrooms, four baths and 5,400 square feet of living space.
According to the listing, the property also boasts an ozone pool, sport court. guest house, and a full professional recording studio. Masterson purchased the home for just under $3 million in 2007.
Masterson faces a criminal charges on allegations of multiple rapes, and had used both properties as collateral for a $3.3 million bond to stay out of jail while awaiting trial, according to Realtor.com. He also reportedly lost a lawsuit against the mortgage holders on his home, leaving him responsible for the $1.995 million he owed.
