A newly constructed Laguna Beach house designed by the late architect Mark Singer has finally sold after more than 15 years of design and construction. According to the O.C. Register, the 5,000 square foot home in Three Arch Bay went for $17.5 million—well under it’s initial asking price of $25 million.
The tri-level home features five bedroom suites and seven bathrooms, with walls of floor-to-ceiling glass for ocean and Catalina Island views.
Secluded at the end of a long driveway, the contemporary build includes an elevator that serves all levels, including a lower floor with an office, media room and a terrace with a pool. The main level showcases a soaring foyer with floating staircase and an open living, dining and kitchen space with two balconies.
Andy Stavros, Josh and Matt Altman, all with Douglas Elliman, held the listing. Monica Fita of First Team Real Estate represented the buyer.
