Patience has paid off for Jim Belushi who has finally found a buyer for his Brentwood estate after five years and numerous price changes.
According to Dirt, the 14,000 square-foot Tuscan-inspired Mediterranean villa has sold for $30 million. Not bad considering the actor bought the original property in 2007 for $8.3 million.
The main and detached guesthouse feature a total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms across more than an acre. In addition to a farmhouse kitchen, unique features of the home include a basement-level media lounge with a hidden movie screen, and a ventilated pub with climate-controlled display cabinets for wine and cigars.
Out back, there’s plenty of entertaining spaces with an open-air pavilion alongside the pool, large lawns and two outdoor fireplaces.
Dirt notes that the property was first made available in 2016 as a whisper listing for $42 million, before officially being listed in 2017 for $38.5 million. From there, asking prices varied from $28 million back up to it’s most recent listing price of $33.5 million.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency held the most recent listing while Daniel Dill, also with Westside Estate Agency, repped the buyer.
