Netflix’s hit realty reality show, Selling Sunset, can’t be contained to just Los Angeles. The show’s star, agent Jason Oppenheim, has announced the brand is heading to Orange County with a spinoff series in development.
Jason and his brother Brett, both of the Oppenheim Group, opened a new office in Corona Del Mar earlier this year, setting the stage for all the home buying and selling drama fans of the show have come to love and expect.
To make the entertainment move official, the L.A. Times is reporting to Jason also bought a $7 million OC-based home. The 13,000-square-foot Newport Beach mansion features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and is reportedly the third-largest home sold in Newport this year.
Typical luxury amenities including a home theatre, game room and wine cellar are included, naturally.
No word on the official title or premiere date for the spin off, but the new season of Selling Sunset debuts on Netflix at the end of November.
