Australian pizza mogul Don Meij and his wife have traded Colorado rustic for California luxury with two major real estate moves.
According to Dirt, Meij just sold his home in Colorado for $10.3 million, reinvesting that—and and then some—into a Bel Air villa for $20.9 million.
The 17,000-plus square foot home features eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, sitting on a half acre above L.A.’s Stone Canyon Reservoir. The ultra lux property features both an outdoor pool and an indoor pool and spa, 12-seat screening room, wine cellar, home gym, lounge/billiards room and a bar.
Pocket doors offer plenty of indoor/outdoor flexibility to enjoy multiple patios, an outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining area. Additionally, the property includes a subterranean garage for up to 12 vehicles.
California Listings agent partner Fred Dapp represented the buyer. Aaron Kirman and Jeeb O’Reilly of Compass held the listing.
