Vice President Kamala Harris may have had a new address for most of 2021, but it took about six months to part with her Washington, D.C. According to Forbes, Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff have accepted an offer of $1.85 million for their West End property. The pair purchased the condo for $1.775 million in 2017.
As we reported earlier this year, Harris’ former residence at the Westlight complex has two bedrooms and two bathrooms across 1,700 square feet of living space, which also includes a den. The building has large rooftop terrace, heated rooftop pool and fitness center.
Harris and Emhoff initially listed the property for $1.995 million after Harris took office at the start of the year. The couple lowered their asking price to $1.85 million in July.
This is the second sale of the year for Harris, who let go of her longtime San Francisco condo earlier this spring for $860,000—nearly three times what it originally cost her!
