Compass is going all in on it’s full-service commitment. First it was Texas, now Colorado is getting the Compass company treatment with the acquisition of Denver-based First Alliance Title.
The real estate giant has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire First Alliance Title LLC, extending Compass’ growing portfolio of title and escrow businesses that now serves nine states, according to a company press release.
With three Denver locations, First Alliance Title is a leading provider of title services throughout the Denver area.
“Compass firmly believes that agents are, and will continue to be, central to the real estate transaction. For agents to be truly great at their jobs they deserve an end-to-end platform that provides them with complete transparency over the entire process,” said Compass SVP of New Business Pooneet Kant. “Today as we announce our plans to acquire First Alliance Title, one of the most respected title and escrow companies in Colorado, we are one step closer to realizing our vision of a seamless real estate experience.”
The transaction is expected to close before the end of the year and the terms of the deal are not being disclosed. Compass currently offers title and escrow services in California, Colorado, Florida, Washington State, Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Texas.
