Nearly a year after listing the property for $15.999 million, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber have found a buyer for their Beverly Hills estate.
According to Dirt, WhatsApp cofounder Jan Koum has purchased the 5,300 square-foot home for $13.5 million.
A quintessential Midcentury Modern located on prime lower Loma Vista in the section of Trousdale area of Beverly Hills, the home features five bedrooms and six baths, set behind private gates and a huge motor court. Walls of glass open to a large outdoor living area with a pool.
A large double living room, bar, media room and gourmet kitchen round out the lux amenities.
Koum has clearly been on a real estate buying spree as of late, as this marks his third L.A.-area purchase in a year. In 2020, he paid an astounding $125 million all-cash for Jeffrey Katzenberg’s neighboring Beverly Hills estate. Earlier this year, Koum dropped $87 million in Malibu, as well, on a property held by California Listings Malibu expert Chris Cortazzo.
Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency represented both Crawford and Koum in the most recent Beverly Hills deal.
