Beverly Hills famed Hearst Estate (formerly known as Beverly House) just got a big price cut on an already-impressive price tag.
A bankruptcy court has cut $19.8 million off the price of the estate once owned by newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst. Re-listed in April for $89.95 million, the 29,000 square-foot mansion is now priced at $69.95 million.
An considering the property once had an asking price $195 million—$69 million and some change is a pretty deep discount!
The main residence has eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, along with two additional staff apartments, a five-bedroom gatehouse and a pool house. Known for beautifully manicured grounds, the property also features a tennis pavilion and Olympic-sized pool.
This massive listing requires a big team of agents, including our Pacific Palisades expert Anthony Marguleas, Gary Gold at Hilton & Hyland and Zizi Pak at Rodeo Realty.
