Like many big cities, space is a commodity that’s hard to find in London. And while many choose to build up and inhabit one of the city’s many iconic high-rise buildings, real estate developer Nick Candy has taken ultra luxury condo living to new heights.
Per CNBC, Candy’s two-floor penthouse unit in One Hyde Park is available in a so-called “whisper listing” for £175 million—or $247 million!
Penthouse B spans about 9,000 square feet per level, with a total of five bedrooms, including the master suite with panoramic views of the park. High-end design details? You bet.
There are identical “his” and “her” master bathrooms clad in Nero Marquinia marble. Bespoke fixtures made by French glassmaker Lalique. A hidden champagne room off the dining space. A fresco depicting the London cityscape with inset glass fireplace. Two wraparound terraces.
And the condo comes fully furnished.
CNBC notes that while the $247 million asking price may seem…high?!, a smaller, unfinished penthouse in the same building sold for an estimated $157 million just last month.
