The longtime Holmby Hilss estate of the late Casey Kasem has sold for a reported $34 million. Kasem died in 2014, and since then Kasem’s widow and his adult children from a previous marriage have been in a legal battle over the home.
According to Dirt, the property sits of nearly 2-and-a-half acres above Sunset Boulevard, featuring with eight bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and many corridors of entertaining spaces. Built in 1954, the Kasems bought the estate in 1989 for just over $1.7 million.
When Kasem first listed the property himself in 2013, the original asking price was $42 million, per Variety. It has publicly been lowered throughout the years, but however you slice it, it seems as though new owners Benjamin and Hedy Nazarian—of the billionaire Nazarian family—made a decent deal.
